    The best dessert/snack experience on the South shore!! And very refreshing on a hot beach day. Drive past the Kea Lani, and just as you enter Makena you'll see the stand on the ocean (makai) side of the road. He usually has a little sign up, and being right next to Po'olenalena Beach there is usually plenty of parking.

    For $4 you get three scoops of any of the four flavors of sorbet: mango, mixed berry, pina colada, or chocolate. You can sample them to make your choice, but you can't go wrong, as all three are delicious. The mango and chocolate are my favorite. The chocolate is made with coconut milk and is so smooth and rich, and the mango seriously just tastes like a cool, fresh mango. Nothing artificial, fresh and natural, friendly service, and compostable cups and spoons. What's not to love?

    I chose the mango ice cream.  This is the best mango sherbert we have ever had!  It is organic, flavorful and not overly sweet!  We would highly recommend this treat!  The service was outstanding, friendly and felt like close to home.

    We came across Kya's stand at Ho'okipa Beach in Maui. She was super friendly and scooped me up some mango sorbet and lemon ice. The combination of sweet and sour  was delicious! A good bargain too - $7 for a large.

    Definitely the best Italian Ice I have ever tried.  We met this guy at the Maui Swap Meet.  Definitely worth the money!

    I never had Italian ice until the other day and it was amazing! Similar to shave ice but way better!!!! I had mines with their home made strawberry syrup mmmmm I cant wait to go back!!! Everything they make is local and or organic! Definitely the best place to cool off in makena!
